- Counseling to birth parents before, during, and after placement
- Assistance with private adoption process for birth parents
- Completion of Safe Home Studies required for domestic and international adoptions in Ontario
- Liaising with adoption agencies, licensees and government
- Pride Courses are listed on the AdoptOntario Website. Adelle is a trained PRIDE facilitator but is not facilitating any course(s) this year.
Fees
- Initial Consultations up to one hour - no charge
- Home Study - $2000.00 plus disbursements
- Home Study Update - $120.00 per hour
- Review of child proposals and report - $120.00
- Post-placement reports - $120.00 per hour
- Birth Parent Counseling - $120.00 per hour (paid by adoptive parents)
- General Counselling/Interviews/Letters/etc - $120 per hour
- PRIDE training
- Mileage - 50 cents per km
- Word processing - $25.00 per hour
- Courier - UPS Rates
- Photocopying - 4 cents per page
- HST and office disbursements on all services are additional
